What so you can play it all the way through on your own? I thought it was just gonna be playing online or local with mates.

And your supposed to be smart. Do you realise the sales of Shadowrun? That was online only. Many people bought it. But loads traded it back in, when they found out it was online only. Valve aren't that stupid.

Re: what about left 4 dead??
he has a point , shadow run was good , almost a tf2 in its own right but it just failed becasue of the detail in the story which we hoped would lead to a story mode.
I was sadly mistaken

it had the conecpts for a story mode, but not for a game completely reliant on multiplayer

Consider the fact it is sold in the Orange Box with one of the best selling games of all time and the over 9000 extra parts. On computer people buy games like Counter Strike and TF2 because they are great fun on pc. With mods, skins, map the list goes on.
Oh you Bean

I do like Shadowrun. I have nothing against it. I like the ideas behind it, as it is basically a Counter Strike, but in the future. Except in actually good at Shadowrun.

Re: what about left 4 dead??
TF2 was only a big hit due to the fact it had a huge fan base from the first one witch was completly online pc game but it became rly big in its time that consle players wanted one of their own and thus tf2 was born if the first one was the second one proberly wouldnt have sold as well
back on topic no l4d is not completly online you can play a singleplayer campaighn with bots witch use the ai director

But thats not gonna be a proper single player story driven game i mean it would get boring pretty quick so like i said originally you would buy it just for online and i would want money off as i thought shadowrun was a rip off despite being fun. And just because im supposed to be smart doesn't mean i cant be retarded if i want to.
